About
What We Do
The Ontario Education Services Corporation (OESC) provides Ontario school boards with first-in-class education and business services. We offer boards effective and cost-saving solutions with a focus on the success of every student in Ontario’s publicly funded education system.
We also work with education partners such as the four provincial school board/trustee associations and the Ministry of Education. Together, we develop services and resources to support the work of school boards.
How We Help School Boards
Cost-Savings
OESC is unique – profit is not our motive. As a not-for-profit organization, our mandate is to provide cost-effective services to Ontario school boards. Partnering with OESC generates significant savings for boards, and in turn, benefits are passed along to students.
Benefits to Outsourcing
Ontario school boards work hard. Boards of trustees represent their communities and make the big decisions that impact Ontario’s students. School board staff must fulfill these mandates all the while complying with Ministry of Education initiatives and goals. Sometimes, bringing in outside help makes sense. OESC is here to lighten the board’s load, all the while saving the board money.
Expertise
OESC has the expertise to fill the gap when boards are short on time, capacity, knowledge or resources. We are a team of highly skilled professionals and respected educators. We understand the needs and experiences of the education sector and the importance of being able to respond to both provincial requirements and local needs & resources.
Board of Directors
The OESC Board of Directors is comprised of each Executive Director of the four school board/trustee associations, and representatives from the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) and the Council of Senior Business Officials (COSBO).
